There's a few different ways you can be on our volunteer team...

Core Volunteer
As a core volunteer, you have a specific role on our team and you're dedicated to fulfilling your duties on a regular basis.
This typically averages 3-5 hours weekly depending on the role and includes checking your BATM email and team messages daily.
Ideally, core volunteers are committed to their role for at least 6 months, but we have numerous team members who have been around for over 3 years!

Casual Volunteer
A more flexible option for volunteers or those looking to get started in animal rescue.
As a casual volunteer, you contribute your time and efforts when you're available to.
Whether it's taking a dog to their vetting appointment and back to their foster, helping us sell merch at a market, helping with one-off admin tasks, etc., just sign up when you can!

Fostering
If you want a more hands-on experience and have a home suitable for a dog or cat - consider fostering!
Opening your home to an animal in need could save their life!
You'll get the support of our BARK Counsellors the whole time, supplies provided, vetting and expenses covered.
No experience necessary!
