Join our volunteer team!

We are a 100% Volunteer-run organization.

This allows us to put every penny we receive back into giving these dogs and cats a second chance at life!

Without people like you, and those already on our team, we could not make the huge impact we continue to make.

Thanks for your interest in joining our team!

There's a few different ways you can be on our volunteer team...

1

Core Volunteer

This means you have a specific role on our team and you're dedicated to fulfilling your duties on a regular basis.

You are able to contribute 3-5 hours weekly (on average), including checking your BATM email and team messages daily.

Joining our core team has many benefits including hands-on training opportunities,  merch discounts,  adoption discounts, and more!

2

Casual Volunteer

This means that you contribute your time and efforts when you're available to (often in-person rather than remotely).

Whether it's taking a dog to their vetting appointment and back to their foster, helping us sell merch at a Pet Expo, or taking photos and videos of fosters, sign up when you can!

Joining our casual team is a great way to get started in the world of animal rescue!

3

Fostering

If you want a more hands-on experience and have a home suitable for a dog or cat - consider fostering!

Opening your home to an animal in need could save their life!

You'll get the support of our BARK Counsellors the whole time, supplies provided, vetting and expenses covered.

No experience necessary!
See more information HERE.
